Day 1 – Tuesday: October 20, 2026 | Arrival in Lisbon & Welcome Dinner

  • Arrival in Lisbon taking in the warm Atlantic breeze and the beauty of terracotta rooftops while meeting our expert guide, Beni Levin, who will accompany us on our journey—private transfer to our 5-star boutique hotel offering elegant design and panoramic views of the city.

  • Time to settle in and enjoy the serene atmosphere, a perfect welcome to Lisbon.

  • Afternoon orientation walk through the Baixa & Chiado district to discover lively plazas, charming boutiques, and Lisbon’s signature cobblestone streets, learning about the city’s rich history and architectural highlights before returning to the hotel to refresh.

Day 2 – Wednesday: October 21, 2026 | Jewish Lisbon & Pastéis de Nata Experience

  • Morning devoted to exploring the heart of Jewish Lisbon with a specialist heritage guide visiting Shaaré Tikva Synagogue, walking through the historic Judiaria, and concluding at the Rossio Jewish Memorial.

  • Continue into Alfama to wander winding alleys, admire colorful façades, and stop at viewpoints overlooking the Tagus River and Lisbon’s hills.

  • Lunch on your own at recommended local favorites—cozy tavernas, scenic terraces, and authentic Portuguese eateries.

  • Afternoon Pastéis de Nata baking workshop for hands-on fun learning how to craft Portugal’s iconic pastry and tasting them fresh from the oven.

  • Late afternoon optional activity to choose a thrilling vintage sidecar or e-tuk-tuk ride across Lisbon’s seven hills or enjoy free time for shopping, relaxing, or unwinding at the hotel rooftop or spa.

Day 3 – Thursday: October 22, 2026 | Arrábida Natural Park, Belém Monuments & Fado Night

  • After breakfast depart Lisbon crossing the iconic 25 de Abril Bridge as the city gives way to rolling hills and coastline.

  • Visit Arrábida Natural Park to savor turquoise waters, limestone cliffs, and lush Mediterranean forest, followed by a refreshment stop before choosing an adventure—canyoning through streams, waterfalls, and natural pools or kayaking along the Setúbal Coast with calm waters, hidden coves, and dramatic scenery.

  • Seaside lunch at a charming coastal restaurant featuring fresh seafood, local wine, and ocean breeze.

  • Return to Lisbon and visit the historic Belém district to see Jerónimos Monastery’s Manueline architecture, the Belém Tower, and stop for warm Pastéis de Belém.

  • Early evening break at the hotel before an unforgettable Fado night.

  • Dinner in a cozy venue with soulful live Fado music filled with passion, history, and emotion, then return comfortably to the hotel by shuttle vans or taxis.

Day 4 – Friday, October 23 | Tomar, Serra da Estrela & Kabbalat Shabbat at Spirala EcoVillage

  • Depart Lisbon after breakfast and travel north through the Portuguese countryside.

  • Arrive in Tomar by mid-morning to visit the 15th-century Synagogue of Tomar, now the Abraão Zacuto Jewish Museum, and take a short walk through Tomar’s medieval lanes with an optional exterior visit to the Convent of Christ.

  • Lunch is at leisure in Tomar before continuing the scenic drive toward the Serra da Estrela mountain range with possible regional stops.

  • Travel to the Spirala EcoVillage just before sunset to participate in a moving Kabbalat Shabbat celebration and enjoy a communal farm-to-table dinner.

Day 5 – Saturday, October 24 | Serra da Estrela – Nature & Heritage

  • After breakfast choose a morning hike or E-bike to Torre Peak (1,993 m), Portugal’s highest point, while others stay at the hotel or take one of the leisurely options.

  • Picnic lunch with local mountain cheeses and fresh fruit.

  • Drive to Monsanto to stroll through the boulder village.

  • Drive back to the hotel for downtime.

  • Dinner at the hotel with relaxed regional dishes.

Day 6 – Sunday: October 25, 2026 | Serra da Estrela - Douro Valley - Porto

  • Begin the day with a scenic descent from the high mountains of Serra da Estrela.

  • Travel toward the Douro Valley watching the landscape transform from rugged peaks to sweeping terraced vineyards.

  • First stop is Belmonte to visit the Belmonte Synagogue and Jewish Museum, focusing on the extraordinary story of the community that kept its Jewish traditions alive in secret for hundreds of years.

  • By midday arrive at a celebrated Douro Valley wine estate or Quinta for a guided wine tasting and scenic lunch among the vineyards.

  • In the afternoon board a riverboat for a short cruise along the Douro River, enjoying views of the terraced vineyards.

  • Continue the journey to Porto arriving late in the afternoon and checking into an elegant 5-star hotel near São Bento Station.

  • The evening is free to explore the riverfront restaurants and cafés of the Ribeira district.

Day 7 – Monday: October 26, 2026 | Porto’s Heritage & Port Wine Traditions

  • Immerse ourselves in the soul of northern Portugal with an expert-guided tour of Porto's UNESCO-listed old town.

  • Highlights of the stroll include São Bento Station’s breathtaking azulejo murals, the iconic Clérigos Tower, and the imposing Porto Cathedral.

  • Cross the Dom Luís I Bridge to arrive in Vila Nova de Gaia.

  • Visit one of the world's most famous port wine cellars for a guided tasting and to learn the traditions behind Portugal's iconic fortified wine.

  • The afternoon is free to browse shops, enjoy a café, or visit the legendary Lello Bookstore.

  • At sunset gather again for a festive night out with a cocktail and tapas crawl through Ribeira, sampling Portugal’s small-plate specialties.

Day 8 – Tuesday, October 27 | Aveiro, Buçaco Forest & Farewell Dinner

  • Depart Porto in the morning and drive south to Aveiro, the "Venice of Portugal", taking a classic Moliceiro boat ride through canals, past traditional salt flats, and exploring the Art Nouveau district.

  • Pause for a coffee break and taste Ovos Moles, Aveiro’s sweet specialty.

  • Enjoy a refined seafood lunch at Salpoente, a stylish restaurant set inside a restored salt warehouse.

  • After lunch drive east toward the mystical Buçaco Forest.

  • Take a guided walk to explore the enchanting Buçaco Palace gardens, the majestic Cedar Avenue, and the quiet forest hermitages.

  • Optional stop for coffee or a glass of wine on the palace terrace.

  • Return to Porto in the late afternoon for rest at the hotel.
